MajoR design studio is a partnership between Maria Hernandez and John R. Sands. Our expertise in designing remarkable interior spaces stems from over 40 years of combined experience in the hospitality, commercial and residential industry.

With every project, we thoroughly synthesize our client’s needs, goals and desires, crafting unique solutions within our client’s budget. We push boundaries and create captivating environments that leave a long lasting impression.

Working with big name design firms and projects around the world has given us experience and strong connections but now being a smaller studio has given us the freedom and time to really personalize, take the time to understand and craft individual solutions that will raise standards and elevate each brand.

A smaller studio will provide competitive pricing and more detailed oriented approach.

Our team works in CAD, REVIT and also offers great quality renderings and our documentation level is the same or higher as that offered by bigger design firms.

We are experts in space planning, schematic/concept design, design development, brand development, materials and furniture selection and specification, documentation, installation.
